Hybrid AccuCab™ combines
the weight sensing technology of the weigh station and the RFID
technology of the AccuCab to make a device that manages expendables,
durables, serialized items, kits and assemblies in a completely
passive device.
The WeighStation™ or the
Hybrid AccuCab™ are both great
industrial vending solutions for managing bench stock at point-of-use, tracking the usage of
expendable or durable items and automating replenishment. The only additional step to employees is identifying who they are by a password on the touch screen or a bar-code scan.
If accountability is not important, you can configure open shelves with
scales and bins to simply trigger re-order points through CribMaster. No
inventory to scan or transactions to log. Transactions are automatically
recorded when inventory is removed from the bin based on the amount of
weight that was removed.
