• In order to obtain a tool, an employee must either scan an ID card or enter a personal code before the tool is dispensed
• Our software then links that employee to the tool they checked out and tracks how long the tool is checked out for and when it is returned
•  If a tool is removed from our machines for an inordinate amount of time, our software will notify the proper managers as to what the tool is, how long it has been missing, and which employee is currently responsible for it
